The journey is often the 'tip of the iceberg'. I had to prepare three types of journey.
The longest was my conceptual journey, which began over twenty years ago with my interest in the writings of the early Christian Desert Fathers of Egypt. Unlike St. Anthony,
I read books and was influenced by films, music, exhibitions, websites, lectures and conversations.
'A certain Philosopher asked St. Anthony: Father, how can you be so happy when you are deprived of the consolation of books?
Anthony replied: My book, O philosopher, is the nature of created things, and anytime I want to read the words of God, the book is before me.' (1)
